Established August 2006.
SAVTA has it’s laboratory and administrative offices located on a small holding north of Pretoria, 20km from the city centre. Testing is conducted at the laboratory and various test tracks around Pretoria.
Since starting in 2006 our core business has been related to homologation testing although our vision has always been to expand our services into other areas within the automotive industry.
We currently serve a number of the major motor manufacturers in South Africa and our current client base (which at present stands at over 320) includes amongst others, companies from the motor, agricultural, mining and construction sectors.
Our aim is not to become a large company, instead, to remain a small to medium entity ensuring individual and personalised service to our clients

SAVTA is a SANAS accredited laboratory (Lab number T0436) and is listed on the SANAS website under Safety & Performance Testing Laboratories.
SAVTA is committed to comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, SANAS and National Regulatory Requirements.
SAVTA is a recognised test house with the National Regulator for Compulsory Standards
We are able to perform automotive homologation testing, various development testing as well as many other automotive related testing.
